Cade sat miserably on his hut floor, the bleak surface seeming to emanate a coldness that was simultaneous with his melancholy. He had killed people. He reilliterated that statement in his mind. Yes he had killed before, in the name of war or in self defense. But this time it had been his own naivety that had led to the deaths of his fellow Wolf-Kin. He shouldn’t have gone off on his own. The thought gnawed angrily at his insides and he couldn’t help but punch the floor to abate his rage. The loud thuds, sprays of dust and tingles of pain in his knuckles calmed him a little. Origins of Cade chapter 23Chapter 23 – Curiosities and Consequences   
Stalking through the densely packed undergrowth Cade was awaiting his moment. His heightened senses were filled with the guttural sounds and repugnant smells only creatures as uncivilized and disgusting as Orcs could give off. He scratched at a nervous itch with one elongated talon, all the while fighting desperately with something internally not to rush out into the open and begin bloodletting. The urge felt like a madmans scream boiling up within at a constant frantic monotone, demanding him to act or go insane on the spot.

Firstly i must say i feel quite disappointed that ive had very few views or comments for my last update. As someone who takes their time to view and comment all my watchers work, wishing for a little in return i think is pretty fair. But apparently not...

I digress however. Getting these updates out a bit more regulary now which is great, and finding that Cade is really starting to develop into who hes supposed to be (felt he seems a bit too naive hero-like early on. Hes not supposed to be a good guy thats for sure) Anyway the usual rigmarole give a looksy and some feedback please so i can see what im doing wrong or what people like

This will be the last update for a coupe of weeks id imagine as im gonna watch the olympics, hey its only every 4 years i think im good for it. Expect the more regular service to resume after they finish

Your own friend? Thats brutal. I've got a friend who write a variety of things, and even if I don't know whats going on I'll read, even to just give him a basic opinion and my personal observations. I've seen people both succeed and fail in the literature area of DA, you just have to work on finding people who will appreciate your work, and I have no doubt that they are out there. Many people follow entire series/novels on the site, so you just have to find those people.
